Mental Gymnastics Meme walks Across "MPs doing their jobs in passing pr through multiparty support following the verdict of a citizen's assembly" Doing complicated gymnastics "Establishment politicians coming up with any excuse not to" "I will push bad faith arguments, tell you to give up, distract you with the instant-runoff ranked ballots and claim we need a referendum ensuring almost certain failure" "I have decided it's arbitrarily unconstitutional" "We need a second one just to be sure" "But the majority of the voting population didn't vote in favour of pr despite it technically winning the referendum"

Notice how the opponents to proportional representation in the media are often the wealthy. They have the money and influence to broadcast disproportionately their side of the argument. We must keep pushing for electoral reform as the future of Canada depends on it. We need to have a government elected with the most public support possible to deal with the real threats of annexation, as a unified country is much stronger in face of uncertainty.
