Memphis’s riff on the Bengals’ tiger stripe helmets is simultaneously hokey and awesome.

Does anyone remember when Pat McAfee used to provide sideline commentary on Thursday night AAC games like 4 or 5 years ago? He was palatable then, even kind of funny. But he seems to have gone off the deep end of unbearable sports-bro since then, sadly

He's like the inverse of a junkie's dilemma. He has a personality that can get reactions, but in order to keep getting a reaction he ups the dose. To a point where now it's a dangerous reaction, but he's addicted, and so are the masses unfortunately. His dealer is gonna keep pushing him out and forcing him to get the returns.

Commercial - kickoff - commercial should be declared a crime against humanity. Come on, this is a Thursday night game, who even wants to advertise on this?

A service academy throwing a TD pass??? What has the world come to?

Go Navy, the coolest branch of our armed forces

Space Force needs their own Academy, dammit!

Wonder if travel to the Moon qualifies teams for the Hawaii exemption. Also, 16-0 Space Force National Champion who says no?

If the ball escapes the moon's gravity well, is that a throw out of bounds? What about punts?

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I'm thinking about moon punts and uncontrollably salivating rn

Their game-film library would be the best in the country... except for teams that play in domes.

That was a hell of a run. Go Navy! More 75 yard TD runs, please

Wow, nice throw. Navy can attack through the air. Maybe they watched too much Top Gun Maverick
