The scam potential seems huge, since people are now much more used to using QR codes and just scanning them.

Scam potentials of QR codes are huge anyway, with most people not checking to what website the code takes them.

Yes and if you take into account that everyone just scans their QR-Bill to pay for invoices, it is easily overlooked where the money really goes.
