Όταν ένας βουλευτής, μπροστά σε κοινή θέα, καταστρέφει έργα τέχνης σε ένα Εθνικό Μουσείο και η απάντηση της δημοκρατικής πολιτείας είναι η αφαίρεση αυτών των έργων, τότε δεν μιλάμε απλώς για μια ήττα της τέχνης – μιλάμε για νίκη του σύγχρονου σκοταδισμού.
