i think it would be cool to have a little motorized mouse that went back in a hole like that to recharge. like a roomba, only completely useless

I don't often use AI to picture these things, but I just imagined a tiny mouse hole to put your computer mouse in to charge overnight.

Just this, but with more LEDs:

Omg, you could totally put an rc set of wheels in the gap where a roller ball would go on an old mouse and make this.

I don’t know how many visitors you’d need to have to actually get use out of that much work for a physical gag like that, but it could be cute at a computer repair shop or something like that.

At random times it should have a dildo instead for a sudden glory hole surprise.

cat toy and long hair collector

(lol I had a motorized snake toy with wheels while fostering a cat and that thing collected more hair in the wheels than it did cat-entertaining)

maybe that could be a feature. my wifes biggest complaint is find long hairs everywhere. drives her bonkers

[–] earphone843@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 months ago (2 children)

I never understand how my wife's hairs get in the places they do. Like, more often than not I wake up with one wrapped around my balls.

My mom once pulled an 18”/45cm hair out of her eye. She didn’t realize what was in her eye until she started pulling. Luckily, it wasn’t wrapped around anything important, but it scared the shit out of her.

Maybe a little too "nice..."

They can leave little “mouse shit nuggets” around the house for you to find, like a some type of game, and they’re actually sweet and tasty so they function as a prize. So not completely useless. Unless you’re diabetic.

And what happens when a real mouse takes up residence?

[–] HowAbt2morrow@futurology.today 7 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Knife fight. If you purchase that upgrade. Otherwise just robot coitus.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

You’ve just invented sexbots for mice.

Congratulations, you’re about to be targeted for a smear campaign about useless research studies.

So this is how it all ends. Who would have guessed.

You gamble on salty vs sweet.

Civilized?

Footage of the mouse that made that hole, torturing a cat:

This anti-feline propaganda could have catastrophic consequences. Rodents are food, not friends!

Imma gonna sit this one out…

What do you expect? With the price of eduction these days, these poor mice can’t get the engineering degrees required to make these masterpieces.

[–] Bumblefumble@lemm.ee 5 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, eductors are like super expensive, not available for regular mice.

[–] TheFriar@lemm.ee 1 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Eductors to the mice proletariat!

Most HOAs don't allow these kinds of holes.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 5 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Yes, it needs tiny crown molding along the edge! Standards, people!

Friends don't let friends get an HOA.

The decline and fall of the micetern empire.

My personal theory is catish barbarians, being allowed to settle in the same area
