As one who is the child of divorce, this is super simple. Have the details settled in the divorce documents and DON'T USE YOUR CHILDREN AS TOOLS TO SPITE YOUR EX.

Agree with your ex on a plan for who claims them and when

My brother and his ex alternate years on who claims the kids so that they both benefit and the kids benefit as well

Don't turn it into a fight as that will just make it worse for the kids
