Movie review. A Scanner Darkly. The first thing you will notice is the rotoscope. It looked great but not only that it added to the feel of the movie, a kind of unreality, and made us concentrate on the characters and the story, not the actors. Story was an excellent detective story.
This was really worth while watching. 4 hobbits.
The Detectorists . This series is a nice watch. You just feel good . Nice people, nice places, some gentle joking, and yes, the stories do have a deeper meaning, personal and societal, but there is no stress. No loud jarring music or sound effects, no flashing lights to jangle our nerves.
