Because I'm a Gamer! A Gamer! The most oppressed minority on the planet!

But the author's actual reason is:

Our hobby deserves better from the companies that made their billions on the backs of PC gaming

Which seems about as true as saying Microsoft made their billions on the backs of PC gaming.

Said no one with 2 neurons to rub together, ever...

Except in OP's whet dreams where they ride a white horse to battle to save all those oppressed by the moustache twirling evil aryan gamers.

They have been starving the market for months. All part of the plan.

Was legit surprised to see my local microcenter sold out when I checked today. Pretty sure they had multiple hundreds in stock and now there's only 1 left today.

Not as far as I know most of the popular coins either use asic mining or proof of stake. Maybe they use them for memecoin or something idk.

Buying RX 6800 XT in early 2023 for €400 was the best decision I could make. The card even OCs by almost 20%... Coil whine is exceptionally bad on it though.

There is literally nothing I can upgrade to that makes any financial sense.

I'm on a 2080 Ti and even I'm having a hard time justifying these upgrades. Upgraded my wife's 1080 with a used 3070 instead.
