I really wish "Know your Customer" laws applied to corporations. We should be able to determine their structure and who they work with. None of this is transparent and it should be.

I completely agree. I've been boycotting Nestle for over a decade but still occasionally find myself having to make sure a new product I want to try isn't made by them.

It does sometimes take effort to root out the true owner and producer of a product. Sometimes looking at a website's about and impressum pages is not enough sadly :(
