I use LTO-6 tape backup system and I'm using Windows 10/11 installed in my computer. Backup to LTO is flawlessly smooth when I turn off Windows Defender. But the problem is... when I restore files in my LTO tape to hard drive it copies about 256MB and it rewinds to the tape reel's front and goes back to copy more 256MB and it repeats. I definitely turned off Windows Defender and it doesn't seem to fix. How can I solve this issue? Should I use macOS or Linux-based OS?

I just use Windows file manager or TeraCopy.
