Komi Can't Communicate (古見さんは、コミュ症です。 Komi-san wa, Komyu-shou desu.), which the machine translation has accidentally rendered as the far more based Komi-san has Communism Syndrome, is a popular manga series which received a two-season anime which is evidently popular enough to be on Norwegian Netflix. It's a fun series about a High School Girl who is in most situations mute and broadly severely socially anxious, trying to make 100 friends.

So basically, they're apparently making a live-action TV drama adaptation of the series as well, which will broadcast on NHK, Japan's national broadcaster. So this is basically just one of the actors in the live action series X-creting about getting to portray one of the characters, working with the actress playing the main girl, and telling everyone to tune in. Standard promotional stuff.

The character that the actor in the screencap is playing is called Osana Najimi (mistranslated as Nagana Najimi). The name "Osana Najimi" is a pun on the Japanese word for "childhood friend", because that's her relationship to the main boy. Najimi is extremely outgoing and sociable and beloved by all, has overall kind of a chaotic energy, and is most strikingly non-binary as fuuuuuck. You can see in the series that he wears a nifty combination between the boys' and girls' school uniforms, and this is what the actor is referring to in the X-cretion.

So Najimi is by all means a fan favorite character, and I guess for the person saying "real-life Najimi can't hurt you", seeing a live-action rendition of the Nadgemeister is a little odd, because it's not how they imagined real-life Najimi looking.

I like najimi a lot but the art style of the anime/manga isn't really for me. so this could be good, I should check it out and see if it has subs
