Rules: (Click to expand)

1. Be Civil.

Users are expected to be civil and inclusive towards one another at all times. Remember the person on the other side of the screen. Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other inflammatory language is prohibited.

2. Keep content related to wrestling.

Any content posted should at least be related to pro wrestling somehow.

3. Spoilers.

Do not spoil events for people. If an event is going on, please keep discussion contained to the/a discussion thread for 24h after the event. Do not post spoilers in titles during this period. Use the spoiler function when you need to, it's there for a reason. Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred or just link the content in the body of the post.

4. Vague/Editorialized Title.

Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.

5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.

Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. Butt-shots you take with your cell phone at a house show aren't.

6. Banned Source(s)/Websites.

Due not necessarily to the content of their reporting, but to their harassing and doxxing of users, the following news sources, journalists, and content creators are not permitted to be posted on SquaredCircle in any context - including direct links, articles, social media, and reports that cite only those sources:

All Elite Wrestling and Prime Video today announced a multi-year agreement to offer AEW pay-per-view events for purchase to fans across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, beginning with AEW Revolution this Sunday, March 9. Live coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The deal represents a significant evolution in the distribution of AEW's content, making AEW's cutting-edge pay-per-view events more accessible than ever to fans through Prime Video. This includes all AEW tentpole events, including Revolution, Dynasty, Double or Nothing, All In, Forbidden Door, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and Worlds End. β€œWe are thrilled to work with Prime Video to bring all AEW pay-per-view events to their incredible service, marking a major milestone in the continued expansion of AEW’s global reach,” said AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan. β€œAEW pay-per-view events are consistently the most exciting professional wrestling events in the world, and fans will now be able to experience that firsthand through Prime Video beginning with AEW Revolution this Sunday, March 9.” These AEW pay-per-view events join Prime Video’s selection of live sports globally, including Thursday Night Football, NBA, NHL, UEFA Champions League at no added cost on Prime, add-on subscriptions such as FanDuel Sports Network, Max, AppleTV+ and discovery+, as well as a growing portfolio of PPV events, including Premier Boxing Champions.

$49.99 is still way too high to me, this economy already sucks, and WWE has really ruined the premium event pricing for me.

I am glad they are on Prime though, that's going to be easier to do if I ever have the extra funds.

You can get them a lot cheaper if you connect to a VPN and order through Triller in another country. Once the purchase goes through, you don't actually have to stay connected to the VPN to watch.

WWE does a PPV every single month. Which is nice but also means they are just another episode and that shows outside of the REALLY big events (which are increasingly blood money PPVs but that is a different mess).

AEW having a PPV every few months means they are still big events. I mean, just look at Revolution this Sunday. If you aren't ridiculously excited for that then you either know nothing of the AEW roster or you don't actually like wrestling. This DOES fall apart in late Fall/early Winter when you have stuff like All In/Out (although last year was really solid) and everyone is getting ready for NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom. But they still feel pretty special.

That said: Yeah, 50 bucks a PPV is pretty painful. Especially if you are paying for cable/max for the weekly show.

That said: Even if you aren't comfortable sending payment info over a VPN (and you shouldn't be), Triller has a decent bundle deal for Revo+Dynasty(?) that comes out closer to 40-ish USD each (and you get last year's Revo "for free"). Hopefully the Max discount is a lot better but... yeah.

I guess this means the Max deal isn't happening?

PWInsider says it's not an exclusive deal.

This is not an exclusive deal, just another platform for AEW PPVs to be distributed. They will still be available on PPV, TrillerTV, etc. and will be available for order on MAX later this year as well.

Yay! I really didn't want to have to give Amazon money.

Not that WB is much better at this point, but...

Does Max have the infrastructure for PPVs?

Not sure, but when the Max deal for Dynamite and Collision started, word was PPVs would soon follow (possibly with a discount for Max subscribers)
