Hey Guys,
Just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience?... I have used iDrive just fine for several years and like the backup to network drive functionality. Recently my credit card expired and because it was attached to an email I don't check often, they "cancelled my account" and the app says to contact support to "re-activate your account" This would imply they obviously still have all your stuff but just pay us and well turn you back on.... I'm sure they could restore it easily from their cold storage or incremental backups etc. After finally finding this out they say my account is cancelled and if I decide to sign up again I have to be ok with them having deleted my data. They check and say "My data is gone". YES it's my fault, I have most of the stuff but I'm not sure "what I'm missing", It's quite worrying that the whole point of their company is an online backup company and they said if I decide to reactivate my account data is gone just because my cc expires for a little while (A little more than a month). EDIT Just check they only give you 10 days to actually know about it or they delete ALL your data...
