Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Nah back then a lot of people genuinely supported monarchy. Remember at the time Germany had only recently become democratic (like ten years before) and it wasn't working out well. So a bunch of people liked the idea of a "strong man" taking the reigns again
Although the thing is there have always been the monarchy nutters but a lot of nutter things have become actual views enough folks have to swing elections so I would not be surprised if some big monarchy swing was underway. Its like the next step of acceptance with maga.
There was large scale fighting in the streets between communists, social democrats and nazis. Unfortunately, communists and social democrats weren't much more friendly to each other than to the nazis. Hitler was elected with about 32% of the votes - he never had a majority, only a plurality, but in contrast to how the AfD (a German nazi party) is treated today the other parties could not agree on a different chancellor.
That even feels more like today. Was able to split the opposition such that some sat it out and got a victory.
