Firefox is right here waiting for you.

Pale Moon if ya nasty.

Point is, get the fuck off Chromium. It's like still using Twitter - the right time to abandon ship was five years ago. You're out of excuses. Just move.

I've been telling my friends and family about going to Firefox and they just prefer the status quo. I kind of hope Chrome becomes unusable soon. Does this make me a psychopath?

It may be the only way to save them.

(That's a paraphrase of a line from an Adam Sandler skit, "Joining a Cult").

Firefox needs a better default UI theme. There are so many custom userChrome.css themes out there, they just need to adopt a good one as default - eg the GNOME styled theme.

New users get scared off that it looks old, even if the functionality is good, and even if they learnt the complex process to change the theme, it's both not straightforward, and there's no way they would even really know it's an option.

Complex process to change theme? You go to a website and click a button

I don't mean the colours, I mean the userChrome.css themes that actually change the css to make it look palatable.

Yes, I know they exist, I'm saying Firefox should adopt a better one by default.

Oh yes, when I read it again I realize that I misunderstood you. :)
