Chill out, chill out. I know you don't keep your plain-text secrets in git, but there are multiple tools that allow you to encrypt them.

I keep my secrets encrypted by git-crypt, but it is not natively supported by ArgoCD. I had to make my own ArgoCD image to make it work with git-crypt and I'd prefer not to maintain it.

I'm thinking about switching to SOPS. To use it I would need a place to keep my encryption keys. I think I will use the free cloud version of hasicorp vault.

I want to hear from you what do you use to manage your secrets? Do you self-host something? Do you use a cloud provider? Looking for ideas.
