Blocking an instance from your account, #BigYes.
(Mostly) not down with flat defederating.
Hexbear was absolute wet dog shit and deserved it.
I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But once it's clear they're going to be a drain on my sanity any time I see them, zoop, gone. You have to protect your brain.
Most recently: some blatant troll said cigarettes prevent cancer, and responded to 'joking or not, shut the fuck up' by repeatedly calling me a Nazi. But that was on ML... so guess whose comments the mods removed.
What's better is blocked subs...or blocking whole instances.
Most times, I say really dumb shit, but there are moments where I have genuinely contributed good shit to lemmy.
That being said, I've been banned from several instances by dipshit mods/admins on witch hunts. Maybe I deserve it? Maybe not. I don't care, because I still enjoy helping people while shit posting.
