According to Calgary-based WestJet, demand for flights to the US has significantly decreased. The airline attributes the downturn to rising tensions between Canada and its southern neighbor as trade disputes and tariffs increase, according to Canada's CTV News.

It's been 4 weeks and we have had 3 serious accidents you should probably stay where there is a functional government. Plus transport Canada does a great job.

Not just tariffs, but seeing as they're also fucking with the FAA... I don't even wanna fly over this shithole country.

I'm sure it can't have anything to do with the general political climate, treatment of migrants (legal & illegal), or such things as travel advisories and a red flag warning from the Lemkin Institute..

Many valid reasons to avoid the US.
