The tech is real, legit, and overcomes a handful of stationary storage issues. It is not without its tradeoffs, but will likely become a contender at the grid level. Maybe, once commodified, practical for the residential user. This project is not novel with respect to the type of battery. What's interesting here is that this intends to democratize/open the resesarch, planning, and development. The group appears to have the technical chops, so this seems well worth following. Thanks for sharing.
