So I recently purchased a Cenmate dual hdd enclosure ( with raid support ) it says the limit is 40tb ( 2x20 each ) and with the sizes of drives are going ( 20,22,24,28 ,etc) I can't for the life of me find out what would be stopping me from putting 2x28 drives in?

Like is it the hardware in the enclosure thats limiting it ? Or is it the data transfer from usb into my windows server ?

Sorry if this has been asked before. But I've looked around and I cannot find anything to help me ( besides me buying two 2x28tb hdds which I can't afford lol )

So I'd appreciate input of what is the limiting factor for hdd support in enclosures if you can. Thanks.
