Hello,

I need an OS boot drive that won't break the bank - preferably 2TB. I noticed the KC300 is much cheaper than most other M.2 drives with DRAM cache (990 Pro, SN850X, T500, etc). Is there a catch? I've heard that it runs hot and throttles under load, but I intend to use the motherboard heatsink. I've also heard mention of firmware issues on the Phison E18 controller. Does anyone have experience with it?
