It's so weird that I feel nothing. I remember being elated when Borderlands 2 was announced, and I was really excited for Borderlands 3. After BL3, the New Tales from the Borderlands, and the Borderlands movie? I don't wanna touch this franchise with a 12 foot pole.

Borderlands 2 was amazing, and Borderlands 3 had amazing graphics. But I felt like there was no need to continue the franchise after that, and I'm actually surprised that they are.
Fully agree. I’d even say BL3 had the most polished gameplay/gunplay out of the trilogy, but that clearly wasn’t a major factor because BL2 is the definitive borderlands experience.
It’s been over a decade since I first finished BL2 and I still vividly remember how fun and addictive that gameplay loop was. I’m convinced that Badass Rank system was pulling a lot of weight there.
Not to mention the character and story quality decline… Well I think that horse has been sufficiently beaten.
Fuck take two, fuck gearbox, fuck pitchford, and fuck borderlands; that series should've stopped once pre-sequal and BL2 were out.
