Excellent feature. One of the first things I check anyways when buying early access games is when the last news post was.

I mean, yeah. I agree. I just thought it was worthwhile to point out that Steam is trying to make information about games in Early Access more noticeable for users. Many may be less inclined to buy Early Access games as a result.

Steam just shouldn't allow devs to charge for early access games on the platform, or at the very least keep the money in escrow in the very likely case the dev abandons it before finishing it.

I would accept a half and half - half now, half when the game gets fully released. If development is abandoned, the held half refunds players that bought into it. Of course, there will be auxillary rules, such as not selling the full game at a price lower than EA, requiring roadmaps to be met before calling release, and so on.
