Hey, I have a kinda stupid question. What am I potentially missing out on by not running the server 24/7? I only turn it on when I need to access my network storage or an app. The power costs in Europe are quite high, so I want to save money. I've heard that HDD drives that aren't spinning tend to fail more quickly. What are your thoughts on this? (Also, I don't have any smart devices in my house, so I don't need a home assistant. Should i just use local computer and external drives?)
