I'm pretty new to all of this, but I have a bit of extra space on my PC and some reasonable tech knowledge. I've never tried torrenting before, but I've been looking for things to do during the mess that has been 2025, and this seems like a place to start. I've seen some conflicting info on this subreddit though, so I have a few questions.
- What needs to be backed up right now? It seems like a lot of things that people are mentioning already have multiple backups. So what doesn't?
- What's the best way to host/share this data? Like I said, I'm new to torrenting. I know it lets lots of people share chunks of data, but where can we host that data so others can see it?
- How do people cover their asses with all of this?
