Of course it received King's seal of approval. He approves of all of the movies based on his works, even when they are terrible.
Oh, except for The Shining.

During the publicity stage (when there is cash to be made) but with hindsight he is often less than flattering about quite a few of the adaptations of his work (and rightly so as quite a few have been pretty poor).

He doesn't gatekeep his work. It's for people to enjoy
Can't disagree there. I never would have learned of the stupid joy of The Tommyknockers or The Langolears if he were to behave otherwise.
And Lawnmower Man
What absolute fucking pussies. Fucking karens.
If adults don't want to see scary movie trailers, they can stay home under the covers. Adults can be responsible and not let their children watch TV unsupervised.
I'm an adult, and I shouldn't be blocked from watching it cause the crybaby christian kumbaya Karen's are afraid of horror movies and want to ruin it for everyone else.
I'd put good money on this being a publicity stunt - submit trailer that contravenes a broadcasters guidelines, posts responses online, get some press attention, profit.
I really, really liked Malignant
I hope James Wan producing it means it'll be more like Malignant and less like Longlegs in tone
I did not know it has Elijah Wood in it! I don't think he's shown in any of the trailers for this I've seen
Hell yea, sounds like it's gonna be good
