mine looks more like:

x:00 ON
x:02 ON
x:04 ON
x:06 ON
x:08 ON (the snoozes start kicking in after this)
x:59 ON (the oshit alarm)

i try really hard to schedule appointments for after lunch, and thankfully don't have many that i have to do early in the day.

I used to do this too but I realized that that I could sleep a couple of more minutes if I had only one alarm and just snoozed it whenever I wanted to sleep a bit longer. Now I have only one alarm and it's been working fine.

I want to try this but I'm paranoid I'll just miss the only alarm.

Maybe try starting with weekends and times when it's not critical to be up at a certain time?

[–] Echolynx@lemmy.zip 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

At the moment, no alarms even work for me on weekends. I've been waking up anywhere from noon to 4 PM...

Put your phone/alarm clock so you'd have to get up to turn it off.

I've got a shaker alarm clock + a phone alarm. Snooze is just too powerful on me...

[–] adarza@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 months ago

the many alarms and the short interval between them is to disrupt the snooze entirely.

I misread alarm as arm for a bit there

Don't forget to make each alarm slightly louder than the last
