I travel occasionally and I like to take videos. However, I'm not a great video editing guy. I rarely color grade my videos, only simple cut and trim.
But I might in the future, cause I also like watching my old videos. I'm just thinking, what if 10, 15 years from now I decide on editing my old videos?
I'm asking your opinion on ProRes. Are they worth recording in this format compared to HEVC if I don't plan on editing it anytime soon? (Cloud backup is not a problem).
It's just that I'll be needing to buy an expensive SSD because the iPhone 16 Pro cannot record the high resolution ProRes directly to the phone storage.
