Comics that play with the framing like this are one of my very favorite types. I don't know what this trope is called but I want to see more of it. I've only ever seen a couple of them but it seems like it should be popular, it's fun.

You'll really like the Mr Invincible comics.

Example

This is actually incredible and exactly what I was talking about. I had some vague memory of something exactly like this that I thought might have been a Deadpool comic, because it seems like some Deadpool shit to do, but this really hit the nail on the head. I'm off to read a bunch of Mr Invincible.

Anything with text more than four pixels high?

Here's the same comic. It's higher quality but it's a Reddit link.

You know you can link to the content and not the reddit post, right?

[–] DharkStare@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

That is the link to the content. That image was uploaded to Reddit's image hosting. All the others I found were of lower quality which is why I posted the lower quality version in my original comment.

Then you will probably like this one too :)

I don't know what this trope is called

[Breaking] the 4th wall is the first thing it comes to my mind, but I don't know if you are looking for something more specific.

Thankfully the hole was not on the fourth wall
