Juntti is not in the sudoers file. This will be reported.

admin is no longer your active companion

Meanwhile, I managed to accidentally start a civil war in New Atlantis by picking up an (“Owned”) empty beer bottle off the ground to put it into a trash can.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 17 points 2 years ago

Citizen, don't pick up that bottle.

The same problem thier games have had since 2002 with item ownership, and it's still in this game?
That's dumb AF.

At least it's not like in Morrowind, where if you stole something of a merchant's, they thought that every other identical item in the world belonged to them as well.

You: has one stolen arrow out of a stack of 100+

Guards: I'm confiscating the whole quiver

As someone who hoards everything and doesn't like to bother with stealing things, I learned quickly that nobody in the galaxy cares about certain items. Disposable cups I get, but everyone is also just fine with you taking all their pens, styluses, notepads, notebooks, folders, plants, pots, pans, and that one desk toy that looks like a bunch of balls stuck together.

I've actually never seen an empty beer bottle that was owned before, but I have seen almost identical full bottles right next to them that are, making it easy to steal accidentally if you're not paying attention.

Those styrofoam cups have been my Skyrim cheese wheel. Plentiful and as you said nobody cares about them. I cant wait to fill my ship with them

Video game with a divorce system. That's wild. What's next, alimony and child custody?

Starfield has starting traits for house payments and payments to your parents. 😬

[–] Potatos_are_not_friends@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I laughed way too hard when I saw that option.

In retrospect, it's actually not that much now that I'm a rich pirate hunter.

[–] blackluster117@possumpat.io 5 points 2 years ago

Alright, "rich pirate hunter". Now, go wash up for dinner. Your father needs help picking the dead bodies off the lawn after.

[–] qwertyqwertyqwerty@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

That hits too close to home for me.

[–] all-knight-party@kbin.cafe 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The house payment seemed horrifying, I did the parents one. My parents are fucking nice in this game. There's totally a dialogue option with them where you can tell them you "don't think you can keep making the payments", I didn't have the heart to even quicksave and try it.

[–] flucksy_bango@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

It's not so bad, you just have to pay $500 every week to go inside. It goes away after you pay it off.

I'm pretty sure every trait has a way to remove them. I'm not paying off my goddamn bounty.

You reminded me that Fable 2 let you have kids and if your wife dies, CPS takes away your kids lol. I think she can even leave you and take the kids with her.

Funny, she left my squad way before we got to any romance options; she didn't like that my response to being arrested was to blast the cop. I got the same convo seen in the article. I was very disappointed that I wasn't able to say "If the state wants a monopoly on violence then maybe they should hire someone who is better at it."

I love it. Apparently it was to test the counter that says X hours since last accident.

Throwing the grenade does drop it to 0.

Hilarious.

AITA for rizzing Andreja up and then leaving her behind for Unity? 10 times?

[–] BigBananaDealer@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago

is Dusty the new drip king? or did he just get rizzed up by Andreja?

[–] HipHoboHarold@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

NTA. If they didn't want to be blown up, they shouldn't have done something deserving of being blown up. You should leave her first and find someone who deserves you. After you throw a grenade at her.

[–] Gothilla@nutmeg.social 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

@DannyMac if she won't tolerate you committing atrocities, it was never really love in the first place.

[–] BobbyNevada@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 2 years ago

If she can't accept you at your worst, she doesn't deserve you at your best.

[–] ImplyingImplications@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

I told you babe it was an accident! The F key for Scanner is right next to the G key for grenade!!
