Over 270 Rohingya Muslims held in Jammu for over two years have held numerous protests, demanding to know when they are likely to be set free.

Koushal Kumar, the Jammu and Kashmir police official in charge of the holding centre, acknowledged that family members were often handcuffed during mourning rituals and funeral rites.
