Sprite is a mutant of the lemon -lime variety.
Still lasted longer than morph
Fun fact, "Morph" was introduced in the comics in X-Men #35 from 1967, back then called Changeling. Ostensibly killed off in #42, 1968.
Wouldn't be revealed it was Changeling that died until #65, the 2nd to last original issue in the OG X-Men run. #67 to #93 were all reprints, during which time the book was almost cancelled.
Feel like Kool Aid Man would have been a more helpful addition to the team
