I'm migrating away from Google Drive for backups, I got myself a 10 TB Hetzner storage box for regular off site backups. I've got an encrypted Rclone mount for general browseable storage, and a restic repo for regular backups of important desktop folders.

But I'm not sure where the most appropriate place to back up several TB of my most rare and highly curated media, mostly music. But I'm not sure what the best way to do it is. The restic backups seem like they might be overkill. Not sure I need versioning and it seems like it'll just add a lot of resources to pruning etc.

But I'm also what the best way to backup to the rclone mount is that will watch for file changes like music tags and new files obviously.

Any suggestions?
