I have years of journals that I have been meaning to back up in a digital format. I know in recent years there have been advances in searching handwriting, and I would like to utilize this.

My current thought is to just get a PDF-making app on my phone or iPad and start working my way through my journals.

Another idea I had was to use Google Keep and take photos of journal pages right in the app. (Google Keep allows you to search handwriting).

Does anyone have any other suggestions? What would you do for this?
