This community shares news and articles from a wide range of political perspectives—socialist, liberal, conservative, independent, libertarian, Green Party, Pirate Party, and more.

The goal isn’t to push one side but to give people a fuller picture of what's going on in the world.

You’ll find everything from mainstream coverage to underground analysis, letting you compare narratives, spot bias, and dig deeper into the facts.

It’s a place for curious thinkers, not echo chambers. Whether you lean left, right, or somewhere off the map entirely, the idea is to expose yourself to other viewpoints and sharpen your own thinking.

Civil discussion is encouraged, and the focus stays on good information and mutual respect—not name-calling or tribal politics.

Casey believes that another key sign is that rationality is being washed away, because it's seen as 'too white', along with science and logic.

Holy shit this guy is overtly racist. He's claiming rationality, science, and logic for the whites. What a clown. Do you share this opinion, UniversalMonk? Do you think that only white people are reasonable?

No. Also, I'm not white.

But I DO think that wokeism is a shit thing.

I think racism is a shit thing, but you're platforming it. "I'm not white" is no excuse. Do you think the antidote to wokeism is racism?

[–] UniversalMonk@sh.itjust.works -5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Racism is not an antidote to anything. It’s a poison that has no place in any movement, but calling every critique of wokeism "racism" is a cowardly way to dodge real debate.

How am I platforming it? I read an interesting article, and posted it.

Accusing someone of “platforming racism” because they challenge your ideology is not fighting for justice—it’s silencing dissent to protect your fragile narrative.

If you think anti-wokeism equals racism, then you’re not defending equality; you’re distorting it to avoid accountability for the flaws in your own ideology.

Thanks! :)

Ugh, I'm not calling the all critiques racist, I'm calling Casey and that specific quote as racist. Your reading comprehension leaves something to be desired.

Look, you're not really good at this whole debate thing and it's really boring when you can't even get basics like that correct. You don't test people's ideas, just their patience. And that's really embarrassing. I pity you.

Thank you for that wonderful constructive criticism. I mean, as you know, I really want to impress you.

I pity you.

Thank you! See? I knew you really cared for me when you started with all that wonderful constructive criticism about an article I posted. That's wonderful.

Thank you, friend! :)

I don't know what that means.

You don't know what most things mean.

I can agree with this statement.

Thanks, amiko!

Every single child in my third grade class is capable of debunking this ridiculous article. Are you telling me that there are adults who actually believe this?

[–] UniversalMonk@sh.itjust.works 2 points 8 months ago

Seems like it.
