Nah, plastics don't break down that fast.

That’s why so much of his face is still depicted, I thought

i don't have any knowledge or proof on this but, just as a gut-feeling, he probably is already skelton

Well hey I did a quick check and it looks like MJ was buried not cremated so chances are good!

I wonder what your search history looks like.

Yeah I think in general this would be on the milder end of the spectrum. Also the reason I found that answer is because I guess people were claiming to have his cremated remains in jewelry. I didn’t actually read the article since google just summarizes it but I bet people were selling them.

People truly will do anything to make a buck.

His coffin was gold wasn’t it? And incased in concrete too. I would have thought that would delay decomposition somewhat, but I’m not an expert.

I don't think if bodies are well embalmed they decay very much.

Depends on how much air gets to the cadaver, doesn’t it? (Correct me if I’m incorrect, smarter folks.) Concrete certainly isn’t airtight, neither is a gold encasement most likely. Worms, bacteria, water, all kinds of fun creatures and elements are likely able to get in, so the look may well be accurate by now.
