Carbon credits are a scam. The whole point of the limit is to get these manufacturers to change their ways. Carbon credits are just a sin tax that could go away with lobbyists.

Given the way these industries all have executives on each others' boards and big piles of stock in each others' companies, its more like money laundering. Just a way of shuffling EV tax credits into the hands of the wealthiest.
