Have a growing library of 4k media, and while I want to have the highest quality content across the board, I really only have access to one device that outputs to 4k. Having said that, I’ve been compressing my media and found that compressing a 4k Blu-ray takes up much more space on the same settings as a regular Blu-ray for 1080p video.

TLDR, How much am I losing compressing a regular Blu-ray vs a 4k one if I’m watching stuff in 1080p?
