Apple has always had a reputation for refusing to announce or even admit to something it was working on, until it was ready to ship.

In what world? Where’s the powerplay charger (or whatever it was called. Where’s new and improved Siri? I’m sure there’s a bunch more but Apple is just as prone to this as any other company.

If you’re talking about their fancy wireless charger mat thing, it turns out what they originally promised is physically impossible to build, so they stuck magnets in all their wireless charging devices and sold a conjoined charging pad that will charge multiple devices held in their spots by magnets.

I am not sure if that is apples fault to be honest. Car makers are notoriously difficult when it comes to new technology. I guess a lot of these delays comes from missed timelines on their end.
