I think it's awesome. A million to most of these companies is so so so so tiny and yet the amount of bad PR it had purchased is 100000x any good PR they could have purchased.
Yet we just bitch about it and he tipped one of the most important people in the world his equivalent of a quarter to gain influence or shield himself.
Like he cares, he just cares about making money. Of course he'll back Trump, he's gonna make everything so much better right? /s

I've been done with Apple since...1997.
But they ain't the only one donating. All the corporations recognize that Trump is Pay to Win. Especially in his final term. Nothing is off the table.

He's an obese 78 year old with a drug habit. There's a pretty good chance he won't even survive 4 years.
Oh I have no doubt he will try to end presidential term limits but also pretty confident he will fail.
I'm at about 25% he dies during this term. If JD and the masters can corral MAGA they could be in power forever.
