I got an X22 20TB SATA drive and it doesn't seem to work. It makes a steady click/beep type of sound and if the drive is active when I restart my computer the PC gets stuck at boot. Neither Windows nor Linux detects it. I'm using it in a Sabrent DS-SC5B with all other bays full. This is the only drive having problems. I even turned all the other drives off and ran just that drive by itself with no change. I have yet to try it from inside my PC via SATA connection straight to my motherboard which is really the only thing I can think to try now. I messaged the seller to see what their response is. My first thought is that maybe an X22 drive somehow just draws a little too much power for the DS-SC5B to handle but I've had an X20, two X18's, X16 and an He10 all running in it at the same time for over a year now and never had any problems so the next logical step is that it's just dead which I really hope isn't the case. Any suggestions on what to try would be highly appreciated.
