Before anyone gets angry: they've actually been available since the 19th of November, but I only just found out about them. I'm probably just uniquely un-looped-in with the news and goings on, but I thought I'd share for anybody else who missed it

If anybody has signed up for a digital license, have you had any trouble with acceptance anywhere? i.e. has any place refused to accept your digital license as proof of ID/age/whatever else?

I’ve used it as ID to pick up click and collect.

Someone else I talked to a couple of days ago used as ID to get into a nightclub.

The main problem with the digital license is the app that you need to use it on.

It always seems to sign me out or need an update so you spend X minutes beforehand having to prep it up so that it opens.

Might as well carry your physical card at times to avoid that problem.

They didn’t accept someone’s at the Post Office the other day.

I don’t know if it was policy or because the clerk had had one of those days and was sick of retail customers causing problems.
