Ugh. Headache. I've had it since last night, but it hasn't gone away with a sleep. I thought it was a lack of water or something, but I drink a fair bit last night, and a sufficient amount since I woke up today

At least TheStenchโ„ข๏ธ is fading

Woke up with a terrible coughing fit middle of the night. Now back from doing some shopping and definitely going downhill. Cough, achy, shivers. Tested negative but I think something is going on.....

Send hope it's just post travel detox.

I'm sad about Jocelyn Wilderstein. I really like her. Rest in peace.

Today has been a nothing day. Just avoiding making my headache worse. I think after I feed the strays I'm going to play some ps5 and crash early.

Shame to have lost a day of leave to being in bed.

I think Iโ€™m going to be waiting a long time for this package.

Booked a 1am flight out of here, not thinking about the fact that it's 4am at home. Haven't adapted that quickly!

DAMMIT. I have been using solid soaps, shampoo and conditioner and body moisturiser from ethique for years now but they have stopped selling here. They are solid bars and a bit more $$ then bog standard but really nice and last for MONTHS.

Anyone got good tips on solid bar toiletries and cosmetics?

EDIT stand down (for now). Looks like there are still some stockists, they have just closed their direct website

This time we have tarp & tape windows and a contact covered bathroom unit. Habitation Certs, what are they?

Managed to sleep. I had to take a melatonin, and I didn't get to sleep until 3, but it worked in the end. I woke up a few times because I bumped my burn I got yesterday from those damn cupcakes. I tried to put some non adhesive dressing I had on it yesterday, but I couldn't find my first aid tape, so I had to try and use sticky tape. But it ended up just really hurting everywhere else on my wrist so I took it off

With all these public holidays, I keep thinking today is Monday. Nothing to do today, so I'm going to catch up on the dishes I abandoned last night

A news article said that some kids born today will see the 22nd century, which is logical I guess but also it's broken my brain.

Mrs forgot my dinner so Iโ€™m eating now whilst she is trying to do the bedtime routine. Toddler just tore ass down the hallway with the Mrs exhaustedly chasing him. Donโ€™t think she appreciated my comment of โ€œheโ€™s too higher level. You need more gym badges!โ€

~~This year~~ *Last year I started to need reading glasses for the first time. Was noticing tiny print was hard to read. Screens and books were still ok. But has been progressing and now I find myself holding books too far away, and I need brighter light to read, ugh guess I need to actually wear the glasses. Might be time to recheck the prescription too. Sigh. Aging is rubbish. I would like my 21 year old body back please, but keep my current brain.
*2025 still not seeped into brain yet.
