No. I hate every piece of music Jimmy Buffet has ever produced.

You can still recognize an icon. Whitney Houston music wasn't for me but there's no way that many fans were just straight wrong.

I didn't say anyone was wrong for liking Jimmy Buffet.

Title says "all the world is 'Margaritaville.'" As above, I hate every piece of music Jimmy Buffet has ever produced. My house is not 'Margaritaville,' and my house is a part of the world.

So, no, "all the world" is not 'Margaritaville.'"

You might not like Jimmy Buffett, but Bob Dylan put him on the short list of his favorite songwriters of all time. Real recognize real

Call to authority does not change the fact that OP does not like them.

That is the fun thing about art, it is always a personal opinion.

I don't agree with OP's opinion but that does not change its validity to them.

They do not like the artist.

More accurately: "Death profiteering businesses cash in on the passing of a popular celebrity, and gullible consumers lacking meaning in their lives lap it up."
