Pretty poor 1st qtr for the pokes...
O:
- Surprised to see Rengel with the start, but overall I like him as a player.
- The pick was a bad decision, but he came back
D:
- pretty clear it has been decimated from last years graduates and transfers

Definitely a lot of growing pains. Not surprising, with all the turnover.

Over all our D sucked this qtr, and the O cant get any sustained momentum going. Not looking good for the 4th
I don't have much to say on the game as my kitchen doesn't have a view of the TV and I was cooking some chicken fried steak for some friends, but I heard that Gunnar and Rangel are both great this year and I'm hoping that we can somehow utilize both. In an ideal world, we'd have two all-star quarterbacks that can be slotted in and out when we need to.
It sounds like our defense was mid at best, our O-line is mid, and our special teams is still great. I'm hoping that the score here was just the first-game jitters and us trying out every player we had which would hurt the consistency. Hopefully, going forward we don't have any issues and we win it all.
Unrelated note, I miss flairs from /r/CFB. I can't tell if I should hate someone or not without them.
and we win it all.
How about settling for conference runner ups, with a dominant win over the land thieves? Actually, I'd rather not face you guys in the Big XII CCG. Every time we play, I feel like it sends both fan bases into cardiac arrest and scores of players on both sides wind up injured.

Same. This is a feature that's been requested and the Lemmy developers seem open to implementing it, but I don't expect it to happen soon.

Overall taking the lead into the half is good! Against an FCS team though? Im still worried about this season as a whole. We need waay more offensive success.
UCA starts the second half with the ball
I haven't been able to watch, so I appreciate the detailed write up.
Against an FCS team though?
Yeah, not ideal. But it's week one and this team I expect needs more time to build chemistry with all the transfers
