I parboiled some rice then mixed it with advieh, tomato paste, cubed potatoes, string beans, soy curls, salt, pepper. Then in a pot I sliced up 2 potatoes and lined the bottom with it and covered them with just enough water and brought to a boil, then I added the rice on top, lidded it and steamed it high heat for 10 minutes, I removed the lid, added more water, lowered the temperature and let it steam another 10 minutes with a less tightly sealed lid.

Served with tofu cream.

Looks delish! Reminds me of the Indian dishes Biryani and [Tahri](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tahri_(dish)).

It is the same thing as Biryani, Iran and northern India are geographically and culturally close
