The Biden administration is offering $12 billion in grants and loans for auto makers and suppliers to retrofit their plants to produce electric and other advanced vehicles, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said on Thursday.

I wish this money would come with stipulations, IE companies using this cash must make vehicles of a reasonable size/price with limited touch screen controls used in said vehicle. For safety reasons, if the HVAC controls aren't physical buttons and knobs, no money for you. If the vehicle is a 9000lb suv, no money for you. If the vehicles end up costing more than 25k in any trim. No money.
