While I really like those people mentioned, I'm not sure I'm ready for any HP content considering the shitty person the stories came from.

I’m personally very ambivalent about this, not just because J. K. Rowling is such a massive piece of shit. I really like the original films, as I liked the original books. I don’t really know if remaking the series is a good idea. They were already pretty amazing. It’s hard to imagine this effort topping that.

However, perhaps there will be some changes in the retelling which take into account the different perspectives society has in the last 24 years. There were certainly parts in both the books, and the movies that were, shall we say, problematic…

Roy Kent as Hagrid would be funny as fuck.

Not sure that I’m interested in watching the series though. I got burned out on reading HP fanfiction after eight or so years, and the fandom (canon included) no longer really does anything for me.
