I adored these games! As Raziel, you have the ability to switch between the physical and supernatural planes. While in the supernatural plane, physical properties such as gravity, speed, and inertia work completely differently. You need to platform, fight, and solve puzzles using this mechanic to collect souls for the Elder God. The dark and twisted story is engaging and fun. Highly recommend!

I also really enjoyed them (and the legacy of kain series) and would love to see a resurgence, but I'm skeptical about the quality of the remaster. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised by reviews and gameplay footage

The game itself was never that good but they did an absolutely stellar job with the world building. That intro for one, and I'll never forget Raziel(?) explaining the story of the giant cathedral, how it was humanity's last refuge and it ultimately did nothing.

Kinda excited to replay it.

These games were a highlight of my childhood. That said, I've tried to revisit them, and by today's standards, they did NOT age well. Trying to remaster these would be a massive undertaking - I'll be cheering for them, though.
