Hello, I am relatively new to this kind of thing (yes I HAVE searched the internet) and I started out by downloading YT videos off of Newpipe. However, if I try to download beyond HD (which looks crappy when you look at it horizontally), the video lags even as a file. I am trying to figure out a way to get around this issue, and uh, is there? Basically, the question is: How do I download videos in a way thats low-storage, high-quality, and doesn't lag in 4k. Yes, I HAVE looked it up but I'm still confused. I know I'm supposed to use AV1 and H.264 but I'm not sure if A. I already am and B. if it will lag in 4k.
